Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing design team at Alvys. As a key member of the Core team, you will play a crucial role in elevating the UX and UI standards of our primary workflows on the web app, with occasion contributions to our mobile application. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver design solutions that are both user-friendly and aligned with our business goals.

Design Principles:

  • Flexibility: Empower users to customize their experience to their specific needs
  • Default Success: Craft workflows that guide users effortlessly to their goals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end design process for key features within the Alvys platform, from research and ideation through to high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers, to create intuitive and visually compelling user experiences.
  • Develop and maintain design systems and UI patterns that ensure consistency across our web and mobile applications.
  • Conduct user research and testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Give input to other designers, providing feedback and helping to cultivate a collaborative and innovative design culture.
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitor products, ensuring that Alvys remains at the forefront of UX/UI best practices.
  • Champion the needs of our users, advocating for design decisions that improve usability and drive business outcomes.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the product by aligning design goals with company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your UX/UI design work across web and mobile platforms.
  • Proven experience leading design projects and delivering impactful design solutions in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and handle complex, multi-faceted challenges
  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of design systems, user-centered design principles, and best practices for responsive web and mobile design.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leveraging AI code generation to build interfaces and ship code.
  • Experience in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industries is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for solving complex problems and creating seamless user experiences.
