We’re looking for a Community Associate to support the execution of ALX Morocco’s community strategy across both learners and alumni. This role is focused on operational excellence, community engagement, and delivering high-quality experiences across online and offline environments.

Role Summary
As a Community Associate, you will support the execution of ALX Morocco’s community strategy across both learners and alumni.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality community experiences, supporting engagement initiatives, and ensuring smooth execution of programs, events, and communication across the community.
Working closely with the Community Lead, you will help operationalize community plans, monitor engagement, and maintain strong relationships with learners and alumni.
This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, proactivity, and the ability to execute consistently in a dynamic environment.
Specific Responsibilities
Community Engagement & Activation
- Support the execution of community engagement initiatives (events, workshops, meetups, online sessions)
- Coordinate logistics and ensure smooth delivery of both online and offline activities
- Support the implementation of community programs (clubs, ambassador initiatives, peer-learning activities)
- Maintain active and responsive communication with learners and alumni
Community Operations & Coordination
- Ensure proper coordination of community activities across teams and stakeholders
- Track participation and engagement across initiatives
- Support scheduling, planning, and follow-ups for community programs
- Ensure that key information is communicated clearly and consistently to the community
Community Platforms Management
- Manage day-to-day activity on community platforms (WhatsApp, Telegram, internal tools, social channels)
- Ensure responsiveness, engagement, and proper moderation of community spaces
- Support the dissemination of announcements, opportunities, and key updates
Support for Community-Led Initiatives
- Support the execution of ambassador programs, referral initiatives, and community-led activities
- Help identify and engage active community members and contributors
- Assist in coordinating user-generated content (UGC) and storytelling initiatives
Events & Experience Delivery
- Support the planning and execution of events (logistics, coordination, participant experience)
- Ensure high-quality experience for attendees (before, during, and after events)
- Collect feedback and support post-event reporting
Data Tracking & Reporting Support
- Track key engagement metrics (participation, attendance, activity levels)
- Support the maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools
- Collect feedback from learners and alumni and share insights with the team
Cross-functional Support
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and other teams to support community initiatives
- Support the execution of campaigns and engagement activities aligned with broader objectives
Essential Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in community management, events, operations, or similar roles
- Strong organizational and execution skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Experience organizing events or community activities (online and/or offline)
- Strong communication skills (French & English required)
- Comfortable engaging with diverse audiences (learners, alumni, partners)
- Basic data literacy (Excel / Google Sheets) to track and report metrics
- Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while following strategic direction
- Familiarity with community platforms (WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, etc.)
- Comfortable using digital tools and AI tools to improve productivity

Given the nature of the role, the position is primarily remote. However, the selected candidate is expected to be regularly present at the City Hub whenever required.
This includes supporting community activations, events, and on-the-ground coordination, as well as ensuring a strong connection with the learner and alumni community.
Success in this role requires flexibility, responsiveness, and the ability to operate seamlessly between remote work and in-person engagement.
