Who We Are

Ambience Healthcare is building an AI operating system for healthcare, with the mission of supercharging healthcare workers with AI superpowers. With workforce shortages and clinician burnout at an all-time high, organizations are finding themselves under immense pressure to address burnout and increase access to care.

The most painful part of a clinician’s day consists of hours of late-night administrative work, writing detailed documentation in the medical record for each of their visits. The contents of each medical note are critical for reimbursement, compliance, downstream clinical quality measures, and for other care team members to understand what happened to each patient.

Ambience's flagship product, Ambience AutoScribe, is a best-in-class AI medical scribe that captures the nuances of clinician-patient conversation in real-time into comprehensive medical documentation within the EMR. On average, Ambience saves 16+ hours of tedious note-taking per clinician per week. Today, AutoScribe is available across 25+ specialties and is used by clinicians at leading healthcare organizations for every single one of their shifts.

For the first time in years, clinicians are able to get home on time for dinner without any documentation homework.

What You'll Do

As an IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the technical compatibility of our product with health systems. You will work closely with the engineering and deployment teams to ensure our product is able to be used as designed.

You can expect to:

  • Navigate technical setups by setting up SSO connections, MDM deployment requirements, and understanding IT requirements of our health system customers.
  • Have hands-on ownership of IT connections and deployments with health systems.
  • Be a technical backstop for our clinical support team as an expert in health system product troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in authentication technologies, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies as needed.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT, with a proven track record of success.
  • Willingness to travel 4x per year for team offsites and as-needed travel for onsite deployments.
  • A passion for healthcare technology and a desire to contribute to a mission-driven organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong experience in Entra ID, SAML, and InTune.
  • Experience working in high-ambiguity environments, such as startups or innovative projects within larger organizations.
  • Flexibility to work across the stack, with the ability to take on security or compliance work as needed.

Compensation

Competitive salary range of $90,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience, along with a meaningful equity package.
