HVAC Service Technician - DMG North

JOB FUNCTION:
Field Technician in the bay area to perform skilled mechanical duties in the startup, repairs, installation, preventive maintenance, and routine servicing of HVAC equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- On site startup technician for various manufactures, local travel.
- Troubleshoot installation of control systems
- Solving issues using reasoning and logic
- Communication with individuals who installed the system
- Programming of new control system using touchscreens and computers
- Documentation of actions taken on the job site on service reports
- Understanding and reading wiring diagrams during troubleshooting
- Completing all startup documentation and sending it to be entered for warranty
- Perform other duties and assignments.
- Maintain regular good attendance
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Standard practices of the HVAC trade.
- Theory of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Computer Usage: Basic data entry and ability to navigate the use of email, internet, word processing programs
- Materials, methods, and tools used in the operation and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Manual and electrical tools and equipment applicable to the HVAC and refrigeration trade.
- Brazing and soldering techniques.
- Health and safety regulations.
- Basic record-keeping techniques.
- Proper methods of storing equipment, materials, and supplies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate
- Two years of HVAC training program
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid California License
Active EPA Universal Technician Certification
OSHA 10
Compensation:
$38-$60/hr DOE , We offer excellent health benefits, a 401(k) Plan, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and flexible scheduling.
