****This position will be mostly remote; however someone in the greater Reno area is preferred as there will be occasional need to come in office.
Role: Service Coordinator
We are seeking an HVAC Service Coordinator to join our team. This position supports the coordination of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning maintenance and installation projects while assisting with administrative duties related to HVAC operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate routine HVAC maintenance, repairs, and installation appointments with technicians and clients
- Maintain detailed records of all HVAC equipment, including maintenance histories, warranties, and service schedules
- Process work orders and maintenance requests, ensuring proper prioritization and timely completion
- Create and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC systems
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and team members regarding project status and updates
- Prepare basic reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and project progress
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management
- Assist in coordinating emergency HVAC service calls as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in facilities management, construction management, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in facilities management or construction coordination
- Knowledge of building maintenance management software
- Basic understanding of building codes and safety regulations
- HVAC certification or related technical training
- Experience with project scheduling and coordination
Compensation: $25-32/hr, 401(k) match, PTO and comprehensive benefits offered
