Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of service and maintenance contracts, and after-sales services to both new and existing clients. The Service Salesperson will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and ensuring the satisfaction of our clients through exceptional service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation:
    • Actively pursue new business opportunities by identifying potential customers and understanding their service needs.
    • Develop and present tailored service solutions, including maintenance plans, equipment retrofits, and after-sales support packages.
    • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for service contracts and other related products.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
    • Provide clients with regular updates, follow-ups, and support to ensure they are maximizing the value of their service agreements.
    • Address any customer concerns or issues with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Market and Product Knowledge:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors’ offerings, and changes in technology that could impact service offerings.
    • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's services and represented equipment, including features, benefits, and pricing models.
  • Proposal and Contract Management:
    • Prepare and present detailed service proposals and quotations to clients.
    • Enter opportunities into our Field Service software to log and track open opportunities.
    • Negotiate terms and conditions of service contracts, ensuring mutual satisfaction.
    • Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation through to contract signing and post-sales follow-up.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
    • Work closely with the operations and technical teams to ensure that customer expectations are met or exceeded.
    • Provide regular reports and updates to the Service Director on sales performance, pipeline development, and market insights.
    • Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in service-oriented industries such as automotive, HVAC, IT, or industrial equipment.
  • Strong understanding of after-sales services, maintenance plans, and service contracts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and nurture client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Goal-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in selling technical or industrial services.
  • Familiarity with the local market and industry-specific trends.

 

Compensation: $80,000/year + Commission
