Role: Inside Sales Engineer
As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role between the sales engineers and customer support for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and solutions. Your primary responsibility is to assist customers, including contractors, engineers, and building owners. In selecting the right HVAC products and systems to meet their specific needs.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute project designs from initial planning phase through construction.
- Participate in field activities such as assessments and verification of existing facilities, energy audits, field observation of construction projects, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Represent sales engineers in the office while they are on the road.
- Manage bid activity (bid schedule, timeline, etc.)
- Follow up with the sales team on bid projects.
- Prepare sales orders and related paperwork and distribute as needed.
- Coordinate with sales engineers on all quoting activities.
- Collaborate with all manufactures on order status in support of the sales engineers to maintain all delivery expectations to the customers.
- Provide internal support and assist with processing sales opportunities by downloading specifications and drawings.
Requirements:
- Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.
- Proficiency in Mechanical design.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC products, systems, and applications.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC project specifications and blueprints.
- Clear communication. You will be interacting with teammates, manufacturers, and clients. Strong written and verbal communication is key.
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills to assist customers effectively.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000/yr with flexibility based on experience and skills.
