Role: Warehouse Coordinator

The Warehouse Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of the HVAC warehouse and ensure effective inventory control and customer service. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics and working with suppliers and sales staff to meet business goals. Key tasks involve receiving, labeling, and storing shipments, assessing stock damage, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, process, label, and store incoming stock while maintaining accurate and clear inventory records.
  • Inspect stock for damages, document findings, and manage records accordingly to ensure quality control.
  • Organize and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment, free of hazards.
  • Effectively resolve urgent issues using strong problem-solving skills.
  • Pull, tag, and organize call orders for efficient customer pickup.
  • Operate order-picking equipment and forklifts, conducting daily safety inspections as required.
  • Account for damaged and warranty items and assist customers in loading their orders into vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain clear pathways for safe forklift operations.
  • Navigate manufacturer websites to order supplies and manage inventory efficiently.
  • Occasionally deliver goods as needed to support warehouse drivers and ensure timely dispatch of daily deliveries.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Order picker and forklift certifications required.
  • Basic math and computer literacy for creating and receiving documents.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting and coordinating with coworkers.
  • Organizational skills for assembling packages and orders for shipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in adverse climate conditions.
  • Ability to twist, pull, push, and stand for extended periods.
  • A valid driver’s license to drive company vehicles.

Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000/yr with flexibility based on experience and skills.
