Position: Project Engineer

Location: Zaretsky Engineering Solutions, Fountain Valley CA Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Entry-Level to Intermediate (Some experience preferred but not required)

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting mechanical and HVAC projects, ensuring quality and efficiency in project execution. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their career in engineering with a focus on Test and Balance processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Perform mechanical takeoffs to support project planning and cost estimation.

· Prepare Test and Balance (TAB) estimates for HVAC systems.

· Build and submit accurate Test and Balance reports to meet project requirements.

· Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

· Utilize Bluebeam and Microsoft Office for project documentation and reporting.

 

Qualifications

· Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is required.

· Some experience in mechanical takeoffs, Test and Balance estimating, or related engineering tasks is preferred but not mandatory.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is a plus but not required.

 

 

Compensation: $20-30/hr DOE
