AP/AR Clerk- Glacier

Role: AP/AR Clerk

We are searching for an Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable Clerk. This position will be based in Madison, WI. The successful candidate will have at least 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Accounts payable and receivable 
  • Collection management with the Staff Accountant 
  • Maintain proper PL margin month over month by job 
  • Enter Jobs and Job Details into QB – all lines of business 
  • Enter Job Estimates 
  • Convert to SO’s, PO’s, Vendor Bills and Customer Invoice(s) 
  •  Maintain all progress billings on jobs 
  • Run Customer Credit Checks – new customers 
  • Get new customer resale or exemption certificates 
  • Daily Customer Deposit process and entry – electronic and QB entry 
  • Maintain proper sales order and purchase order margins 
  • Maintenance of Vendor and Customer files within the accounting software. 
  • Lien Waiver administration with Staff Accountant 

 

Requirements:  

  • Associates Degree 
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and accounting software (e.g., Microsoft DynamicsOracleQuickBooks) 

 

Compensation: 

$25-$28/hr , based on experience and skills, plus benefits.
