About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cooling Tower Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cooling towers, and related commercial HVAC equipment. This position services commercial, light industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, and mission-critical facilities throughout the region.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and experienced in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cooling towers, chillers, pumps, heat exchangers, and related HVAC equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Identify cooling tower performance issues.
- Complete service documentation accurately and maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs, maintenance, and equipment recommendations.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency service calls as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; HVAC/R trade school training preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with commercial HVAC, cooling towers.
- Knowledge of cooling towers, chillers, pumps, boilers, hydronic systems.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions.
- Personal hand tools required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Marley, BAC, Evapco, or similar cooling tower equipment.
- Knowledge cooling tower maintenance practices.
- Experience working with BAS platforms such as Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or Tridium.

Schedule & Location
Full-Time | Monday-Friday
Overtime and on-call rotation required.
Location: Field-based position servicing commercial and industrial customer sites throughout the assigned territory. Hybrid remote based out of Elmhurst, IL 60126.
