Overview:

As a Consultant at AMEND Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering impactful solutions for our clients. Responsible for account management, you will direct the work of multiple projects, while also playing the role of connector between project teams and clients, identifying and selling retention work, and growing your accounts.      
    
Your problem-solving skills will be crucial as you assess clients' people, processes, and systems, identifying areas for improvement and devising innovative solutions with the support of your team.  Client satisfaction is paramount, and you will drive presentations with strategic insights, ensuring high-quality deliverables and building lasting relationships. Additionally, you will serve as a strategic leader within your project teams and the broader AMEND team, nurturing competencies in others and positively impacting our business. Responsibilities:    

Account Management    

  • Build detailed plans for your projects and manage the timeline, budget, profitability, and scope of multiple projects at one time.
  • Connect your project team, client leaders, and subject matter experts in communication about upcoming deliverables, timeline adjustments, and overall status of the account.
  • Grow client accounts by identifying and selling opportunities for additional project work.
   

Problem Solving    

  • Understand your clients’ current people, processes, and systems, identify gaps for improvement, and create a plan to close those gaps.
  • Design innovative solutions for complex situations with your clients, using analytical and conceptual thinking.
  • Showcase business acumen in the practice areas of AMEND and ability to call on subject matter experts when needed.
   

Client Satisfaction   

  • Drive client presentations with valuable strategic insights and recommendations, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Accountable for delighting the client with high quality deliverables for all project tasks.
  • Strengthen client relationships by earning and building trust with project sponsors and executives.
  • Travel as needed to meet client needs (up to 4 days/week). 
   

Leadership of Others   

  • Direct the work of project team members on a daily basis.
  • Serve as a strategic leader within the AMEND team, building competencies within others and striving to have a positive impact on our business. 
   
   Qualifications:    
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • Ability to interface with multiple business functions (internally and externally)
  • Desire to build leadership and competencies in others within the business
  • Ability to work through uncertainty while continuing to drive tasks on projects 
  • Organizational skills and ability to enforce accountability 
  • Broad understanding of business functions and excitement to “think big” and learn more
  • Proven ability to manage project administration, timeline, and budget
  • Curiosity to ask questions and challenge the status quo
  • Creativity to devise out-of-the-box solutions
