Position Overview 

  • Flexible Schedule: This position offers a flexible schedule of Monday through Friday, with start times between 6-9am and end times between 3-6pm, depending on your start time (a full 8-hour day must be worked). Corporate office hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm - Flexibility to work additional hours may be required to meet company/project needs.
  • On-Site Requirement: This position requires physical presence at our corporate office during office hours.
  • Compensation Package–
    • $85,000 to $95,000 / Year
    • The above compensation is a range. Offers are made based upon a candidate’s experience and the geographical location of this position.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years of fund accounting experience, preferably in private equity or hedge funds
  • Proficiency in partnership accounting and allocation methodologies
  • Experience with oversight of third-party fund administrators
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software
  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional designation is preferred
  • Experience with alternative investments (private equity, real estate, venture capital)
  • Knowledge of fund structures, including master-feeder and parallel funds
  • Familiarity with tax considerations for investment partnerships
  • Experience with investor reporting and communications

 

Your Role

  • Act as the primary liaison with third-party fund administrators.
  • Review and approve NAVs, financial statements, and investor reports.
  • Validate fund expenses, fees, and performance allocations for accuracy.
  • Manage partner capital activity, allocations, and maintain ownership records.
  • Review and authorize capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations.
  • Supervise outsourced accounting teams and enforce quality control standards.
  • Provide training, guidance, and technical support to junior team members.
  • Lead fund audits, prepare documentation, and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Prepare financial reports, ensure GAAP compliance, and support regulatory and investor requests.
