Summary: The Career Services Associate will be responsible for contacting a specific graduate cohort to obtain employment data and offer support to assist graduate’s continued employment success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs outreach to and captures current graduate student employment data through phone or email contact to include reverification of employment and annual income from a specific graduate cohort.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate reports for Executive Leadership relating to specific graduate cohort employment for review and analysis.
  • Works with a specific graduate cohort to assist in achieving or improving employment goals, including providing resume and interviewing best practices.
  • Coordinates employment placement for designated cohort, if applicable.
  • Communicates with Career Services teams located in various onsite campuses.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, energetic, and results-driven call center environment.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse customer base.

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to professionally communicate fluently in verbal and written English.
  • Supportive of a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Computer literacy/basic computer skills to effectively navigate and utilize the technology required for the role.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in employment staffing, career services, out-placement services, or sales in a business/corporate setting.
  • Prior career placement background
  • Prior experience in sales, staffing or a call-center environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools such as Microsoft Teams

Compliance:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of, and carefully follows all applicable federal and state compliance requirements and regulations including those prescribed by the U.S. Department of Education, accrediting agencies, state regulations and, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate compliance requirements to other staff as appropriate and quickly escalate any compliance concerns to the Compliance department.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • This is a full-time position, on-site. 
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed.

Anticipated starting salary is based on experience and qualifications.

Compensation Range

$28.84 - $31.25 USD
