ARCO/Murray National Construction is currently seeking an experienced Construction Quality Manager, CSA to join our Mission Critical team in Terre Haute, IN. The Construction Quality Manager will serve as the onsite quality lead for an ARCO project and will be responsible for implementing the Project-Specific Quality Management Plan (PSQMP), derived from ARCO’s company Quality Management Plan (QMP). At ARCO, every associate is empowered to drive their success. Quality Managers at ARCO play a key role in supporting project teams from preconstruction through turnover, helping ensure work is executed right the first time, documentation is maintained, and quality expectations are upheld in the field and across project partners. Each Quality Manager has the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on project performance, client satisfaction, and the long-term success of our work.

 

A Day in the Life:

Quality Management and Inspection

  • Implement and maintain the PSQMP for assigned CSA scopes.
  • Translate the company QMP into project-specific procedures, inspection requirements, and documentation standards.
  • Plan and execute inspections, testing activities, and quality hold points.
  • Coordinate third-party inspections, testing agencies, and specialty consultants.
  • Verify that work conforms to approved drawings, specifications, submittals, codes, and project requirements.
  • Identify quality risks early and communicate recommended corrective actions to project leadership.
  • Coordinate MEP quality interfaces without owning MEP installation quality or commissioning activities.

Nonconformance and Deficiency Management

  • Identify, document, and track nonconforming work, deficiencies, punch-list items, and corrective actions.
  • Drive NCR resolution with subcontractors, trade partners, design teams, and project leadership.
  • Confirm corrective actions are completed, properly documented, and verified in the field.
  • Escalate recurring or systemic quality issues to the Regional Quality Manager.
  • Support root-cause analysis and preventive-action planning to reduce repeat issues.

Documentation and Closeout

  • Own project quality checklists, inspection and test plans, photo logs, and supporting records.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely quality documentation in the project’s digital systems.
  • Compile quality evidence needed for pay applications, milestone approvals, turnover, and closeout.
  • Review documentation for consistency, traceability, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Support punch-list completion, final inspections, warranties, as-builts, and other closeout deliverables.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as the onsite point of contact for quality matters involving the owner, construction manager, design team, subcontractors, and trade partners.
  • Participate in project meetings, quality walks, inspections, and coordination sessions.
  • Communicate quality expectations clearly to field teams and subcontractors.
  • Provide regular updates on open deficiencies, inspection status, NCRs, risks, and closeout readiness.
  • Partner with the Superintendent, Project Manager, Regional Quality Manager, and field leadership to support successful project delivery.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Experience in project quality assurance, quality control, field quality, construction inspection, or a related role on commercial construction projects.
  • Experience working with Quality Management Plans, Project-Specific Quality Management Plans, inspection programs, inspection and test plans, and quality documentation.
  • Ability and willingness to work full-time onsite for the duration of the project assignment.
  • Strong understanding of CSA construction scopes, including civil/site work, structural work, building envelope, shell, and architectural finishes.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Comfortable using digital project-management, quality-management, and document-control tools.
  • Ability to obtain required site badging and meet project access requirements.
