Job Summary

We’re looking for a passionate and eager marketing intern to be part of the Sulwhasoo Trade Marketing team. This intern will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing team in day to day tasks as well as leading their own projects contributing to the overall growth of the brand. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment with an exclusive look into the beauty product lifecycle from conception to launch. This position will report into the Trade and Product Marketing Manager while assisting other members of the team. We operate on a hybrid working model, with our office located in Manhattan, NY.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Conduct market and competitive research for new product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Support new product launches, retailer initiatives, and in-store events.
  • Support marketing execution across D2C and department store channels.
  • Maintain product assets and the product asset matrix across the portfolio.
  • Coordinate samples and displays for market meetings.
  • Work cross-functionally on sampling strategy and inventory management
  • Manage product orders for events and office needs.
  • Pull and analyze weekly and monthly sales data and customer sentiment.
  • Support VMD projects, including timelines, assets, store updates, and execution.
  • Maintain product closet inventory
  • Own and execute ad-hoc projects

Key Experience and Skills

Qualification and Experience

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate student or recent graduate
  • Preferably a business or marketing major with a strong interest in marketing, beauty, and luxury field
  • Previous marketing or sales internship experience is a plus but not a must

Skill Sets

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Knack for organization and time management
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Ability to work cohesively with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Highly motivated, resourceful self-starter who executes with a strong sense of urgency and has the ability to manage multiple deadlines with speed and accuracy.
  • Passionate about current beauty and luxury marketing trends, media industry news, and retail innovation.
  • Nice to have, experience working with project management tools such as Monday.com or Notion.

Base Salary Range
