Transactional Finance Transformation Project Manager

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Manchester HQ (Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in the office)

£45,000 – £55,000

At Amoria Group, we're embarking on an exciting transformation programme within our Transactional Finance function, and we're looking for someone who truly understands how a high-performing transactional finance operation works.

This isn't a traditional Project Manager role.

We're looking for someone with hands-on experience across end-to-end transactional finance who can bring fresh ideas, challenge existing ways of working and help shape the future of the department. Whether you've led finance teams, delivered change initiatives alongside your operational role, or been responsible for improving processes within a transactional finance environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Working closely with our Head of Transactional Finance, you'll play a key role in reviewing current processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing sustainable change that leaves a lasting impact across the function.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead transformation projects across the Transactional Finance function.
  • Review end-to-end finance processes, identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve ways of working.
  • Develop clear process documentation, governance frameworks and operational procedures.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to embed new processes and drive adoption.
  • Track project milestones, risks and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Use operational data to identify trends, measure success and support informed decision-making.
  • Explore opportunities to introduce automation and AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual activity.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement across the department.

What we're looking for

This role is ideal for someone who understands transactional finance from the inside out.

You'll have experience working across end-to-end transactional finance operations and understand the challenges, dependencies and opportunities within the function. We're looking for someone who can quickly identify where improvements can be made and has the credibility to influence change because they've worked in this environment themselves.

You may have experience leading projects, managing change or improving processes as part of your role, but we're more interested in your operational knowledge and ability to drive meaningful improvements than a traditional Project Management background.

You'll also bring:

  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end transactional finance processes.
  • Experience improving processes, driving efficiencies or implementing change.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A structured, organised approach with strong attention to detail.
  • The confidence to challenge existing ways of working and influence positive change.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Why join Amoria Group?

This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact on a strategically important transformation programme.

You'll work alongside senior stakeholders, shape the future of our Transactional Finance function and implement improvements that will continue to benefit the business long after the project is complete.

If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and making things work better, we'd love to hear from you.

Amoria Group is proud to be an equal opportunities employer. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates.
