Position Summary
Amp Americas (Amp) seeks a motivated professional accountant to join its accounting team as an Accounts Payable Manager. Responsibilities include the oversight of day-to-day accounts payable operations and team. Additionally, the Accounts Payable Manager is involved in the month-end close process and managing prevailing wage compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Accounts Payable team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Oversee vendor invoice workflows, ensuring proper approval, accurate coding, and timely processing
- Manage and help maintain compliance with prevailing wage requirements and related documentation
- Manage vendor relationships by overseeing communications, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring up-to-date vendor records
- Supervise and optimize the execution of weekly payment runs, ensuring adherence to payment schedules and treasury organization
- Collaborate with the accounting team to support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting
- Evaluate and improve AP processes, implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy
- Provide consistent reporting to senior leadership regarding AP operations
- Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks to support broader organizational objectives
Required Skills / Abilities / Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant Accounts Payable work experience (required)
- Experience managing teams (required)
- Experience with multiple subsidiary organizations (required)
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (required)
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Experience with NetSuite and MineralTree (preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals
- Aptitude for solving problems independently and an interest in alternative and renewable energy

- Salary range from $95,000 - $110,000k annually + 10% bonus & equity
