Role Summary

Amperesand is looking for a PLM Analyst to join our IT team in Reno, NV. This is an onsite position. In this role you will own the day-to-day administration, configuration, and support of our Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform and its integration with our engineering, manufacturing, and business systems. You will be the technical point of contact for our design and manufacturing teams' PLM/PDM needs, keeping CAD, product data, and change/release workflows running reliably as the company scales. You'll work closely with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers, as well as IT and business stakeholders, to design and maintain solutions that keep product data accurate, accessible, and secure. Depending on business needs, this role may include supporting users and systems on the factory floor.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain the 3DEXPERIENCE platform (ENOVIA), including users, roles, collaborative spaces, security contexts, and lifecycle/maturity states
• Support and troubleshoot CAD and PDM tools in the Dassault ecosystem (CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, DELMIA, and 3DX-integrated design apps)
• Manage engineering data, BOM structures, and document control within PLM; support engineering change and release workflows (ECR/ECO)
• Configure, test, and document platform upgrades, patches, and new capability rollouts; validate before production deployment
• Build and maintain integrations between 3DX and adjacent systems (ERP, MES/factory systems, and identity/SSO via Entra ID)
• Perform regular system monitoring — verifying data integrity, health, and availability; reviewing logs; and ensuring scheduled jobs complete
• Lead problem-solving for PLM system and service issues; coordinate with Dassault and other vendors for escalations
• Onboard and train engineering and manufacturing users; write and maintain clear technical and end-user documentation
• Partner with engineering leadership to gather feedback on design decisions and continuously improve PLM processes and configuration
• Track, prioritize, and resolve PLM-related requests through the ticketing system
• Follow established procedures for data security, access control, and confidentiality of product data

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience administering or supporting a PLM/PDM system in an engineering or manufacturing setting
• Working knowledge of CAD data management and at least one major CAD tool (CATIA and/or SOLIDWORKS)
• Understanding of engineering change and release processes, BOM management, and product data structures
• Familiarity with integrating PLM to ERP and/or manufacturing systems
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, changing startup environment
• This role requires working onsite; candidates must be able to work onsite five days per week

Bonus Qualifications

• Direct experience with Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE / ENOVIA (platform administration, security roles, collaborative spaces, lifecycle configuration) strongly preferred; other enterprise PLM experience (Teamcenter, Windchill) considered
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience
• Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE / ENOVIA certification
• Experience with on-premises and/or 3DEXPERIENCE cloud (SaaS) deployments
• Scripting/configuration experience within the 3DX platform (EKL, widgets, or web services/REST APIs)
• Database experience (SQL/Oracle) for reporting or troubleshooting
• Exposure to Microsoft 365 / Entra ID for SSO and user provisioning
• Prior experience in a hardware, electronics, or manufacturing startup

Compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
