The Role

We’re looking for a strategic and creative Content Marketing Manager to lead content development across the customer lifecycle with a sharp focus on top-of-funnel. In this role, you’ll manage our content engine and integrated campaigns, ensuring every piece of content drives measurable growth.  

This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong editorial skills, campaign experience, hands-on content creation and distribution from end-to-end, and a clear understanding of the B2B buyer journey. You will report directly to the VP of Marketing and work closely with comms, sales, product marketing, SMEs, and customer success. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and manage a content calendar aligned to business objectives, buyer personas, and funnel stages, prioritizing top-of-funnel content that fuels demand generation campaigns 
  • Create and manage high-impact content end-to-end, including blogs, emails, whitepapers, case studies, landing pages, product one-pagers, and videos that convert 
  • Partner with demand generation manager, sales, and product marketing teams to ensure content supports campaign themes and GTM priorities 
  • Build integrated content and email campaigns that drive awareness, lead generation, engagement, and increase lead conversion 
  • Continuously measure performance and optimize content/campaigns, using data to refine formats, topics, and distribution channels with a focus on improving pipeline and conversion rates 
  • Map content to the buyer’s journey to build assets that supports every stage of the funnel, including working with sales and customer success to create content that moves prospects through the sales funnel and increases customer retention and expansion 

What Success Looks Like: 

  • Top-of-funnel leads and MQLs grow quarter over quarter 
  • Content directly supports pipeline-generating campaigns 
  • Landing page and gated asset conversion rates improve 
  • Clear attribution of content to demand gen success 

Qualifications: 

  • 4–7 years in B2B content marketing 
  • Proven ability to develop content strategies and manage campaign execution across multiple channels 
  • Strong writing, editing, and messaging skills with an editorial eye for detail and tone 
  • Experience collaborating with demand generation and sales to create conversion-optimized content 
  • Comfortable with content performance metrics and using tools like Google Analytics and HubSpot and tools to track ROI 
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Canva, Webflow 
  • Energy or power markets experience is strongly preferred
