About the Role & Team
The Workplace Lead will oversee day-to-day workplace operations, curate programs, support events, and drive experiences that embody and amplify Amplitude’s mission, values, and culture. This role is ideal for a candidate with an entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for creating exceptional workplace experiences, and the ability to champion Amplitude’s core values of Humility, Ownership, and Growth Mindset.
The Workplace Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams, build relationships with stakeholders, and prioritize a hospitality-focused approach to ensure a positive and productive environment for our employees. While Amplitude supports dynamic workplace policies that enable employees to work from anywhere, this role requires onsite presence Monday - Friday in the New York office.
As a Workplace Lead, You Will:
- Manage Workplace Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the New York office, including space planning, janitorial services, food and beverage programs, event support, and other essential services.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with cross-functional teams, functional leaders, and executive stakeholders to align the workplace environment with Amplitude’s goals of wellness and productivity.
- Enhance Workplace Experience: Lead initiatives to create engaging, thoughtful workplace experiences that foster community and culture.
- Supervise Vendor Services: Manage vendor relationships and services, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support Events and Programs: Assist in implementing programs and events for onsite and distributed teams, ensuring inclusivity and alignment with company culture.
- Manage Budget and Reporting: Track and report on budgets related to workplace operations, including opex/capex, accruals, and forecasts in collaboration with Finance.
- Address Safety and Security: Ensure workplace safety, address local security concerns, and communicate updates effectively to employees.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 3+ years of experience in workplace operations, facilities management, or related fields.
- Proven ability to take initiative, lead projects, and drive results independently.
- Strong background in providing exceptional customer service and creating positive employee experiences.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Google Suite, Envoy, Zoom, and facilities management applications.
- Ability to be onsite in the New York office Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with flexibility and occasional on-call support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with office relocation or capital projects.
- Background in supporting distributed or hybrid teams.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of collaboration and inclusion.

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in New York. Salary range: $85,000-127,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
