The team has built Ask Amplitude, our AI assistant, and is helping with Amplitude Agents, a new suite of autonomous tools. Our future work involves leveraging LLMs to take existing products to the next level and building net-new, AI-first products. You'll be a core member of our team, building features involving both frontend web and LLMs. Our stack includes React, Typescript, Node.js, and OpenAI/Bedrock SDKs. We're a small team that iterates quickly and listens to customer feedback.

We have free lunches, snacks, regular boba walks, a gaming lounge, and a large collection of board games. You'll have a chance to connect with our co-founders, executives, and cross-functional Ampliteers during weekly board game nights and weekend LAN parties. Whether you’re debugging with teammates or competing in a board game showdown with our CTO, you’ll feel part of a community that values curiosity, creativity, and fun.
As a software engineering intern, you will:
- Build and ship high-quality customer-facing products
- Build features using React, Typescript, and Node.js
- Be involved across the product lifecycle: ideation, planning, and reviewing customer feedback
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and design
- Evaluate and prototype with emerging AI technologies
You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:
- Experience with Typescript, Node.js, GraphQL, Python, or Postgres
- Proficiency with React state management and performance
- Built and deployed websites outside of work or school
- Have experience with testing, design systems, A/B tests, or data analysis
- Understanding of prompt engineering techniques and the technologies underlying LLMs
- Strong interest in product and design
At a minimum, you need to have:
- Proficiency with Javascript, React, and CSS
- Experience with Git
- Worked on a full-stack web application
