Role Description
Amtech is establishing its first dedicated IT Delivery Services function in India, and this role is the cornerstone. The Senior Manager will build and lead the India IT organization, responsible for delivering reliable, secure, and scalable technology services that enable Amtech’s business operations.You will oversee local IT operations, people, and vendors, ensuring every employee in India has a seamless technology experience while aligning closely with global infrastructure, cloud, and security teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
- Establish Amtech’s IT Delivery Services capability in India from the ground up—hiring, developing, and leading a high-performing local team.
- Define local IT strategy and operational standards consistent with Amtech’s global direction and security policies.
- Act as the senior IT representative for India, partnering with business, HR, and Facilities leaders on technology planning and support.
- Foster a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Service Delivery & Operations
- Oversee all end-user IT services including endpoint management, collaboration tools, office networks, and asset lifecycle management.
- Implement and manage IT service management (ITSM) processes—incident, request, change, and problem management—to ensure consistent, measurable delivery.
- Build vendor and partner relationships covering procurement, support, and managed services; negotiate SLAs and ensure performance.
- Ensure uptime, performance, and responsiveness of core IT systems supporting India operations.
Governance & Security Coordination
- Collaborate with global Security teams to enforce ISO 27001 and SOC 2 controls in India operations.
- Ensure compliance with local data protection, labor, and import/export regulations for IT equipment and systems.
- Coordinate vulnerability remediation, endpoint protection, and access management activities with central teams.
Projects & Modernization
- Lead or support infrastructure and endpoint modernization initiatives (Zero Trust, observability, automation).
- Manage local components of global technology rollouts—network upgrades, SaaS integrations, and productivity platform enhancements.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency through automation and standardized tooling.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or service delivery; at least 3 years in a people-management capacity.
- Demonstrated success establishing or scaling IT operations in a multinational or fast-growth environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune/Endpoint Manager, Azure AD, and enterprise networking.
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and modern service delivery models.
- Experience managing vendors and budgets, and working effectively across time zones and cultures.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
