Amtech is hiring an Associate Consultant to support our growing consulting team. This entry-level role is ideal for early-career professionals and recent graduates who are eager to learn and develop a strong foundation in packaging, automation, and manufacturing systems through hands-on experience, shadowing senior consultants, and supporting client-facing engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Shadow senior consultants during client engagements to learn consulting methods, systems, and best practices
• Support consulting engagements for manufacturing and packaging clients
• Assist with on-site observations, data collection, and process documentation
• Help with system implementations, configuration, testing, and validation activities
• Participate in client visits, assessments, and training sessions
• Create and maintain training content, user guides, and reference materials based on real-world system use and client workflows
• Capture knowledge from consulting activities and translate it into clear, structured learning materials
• Collaborate with senior consultants to ensure training content aligns with best practices and customer needs
• Continuously build product, industry, and technical knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following (or a closely related field):
• Packaging Engineering / Packaging Science
• Electrical Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Manufacturing, Automation, or related technical discipline
• 0–3 years of professional experience (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
• Strong desire to learn, grow, and develop consulting skills
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% (now or in the future)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced, client-facing environments

Compensation & Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000–$75,000 per year, with final compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
