About the role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our cutting-edge threat intelligence solution by generating new business opportunities. As part of a mission-driven team in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry, you will collaborate closely with sales and marketing to identify, engage, and qualify key decision-makers within target organizations. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding our market presence and solidifying our position as a leader in cybersecurity.  

What you’ll do

  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Proactively research, target, and engage potential clients in industries that would benefit from our Threat Intelligence Platform, including direct outreach through calls, emails, and social media platforms. 
  • Market Research & Segmentation: Identify and understand key market segments, including SMBs, enterprise-level businesses, and specific verticals that are at high risk for cyber threats and in need of cutting-edge security solutions. 
  • Qualify Leads: Engage with prospects to understand their cybersecurity challenges, assess their needs, and qualify them for the next steps in the sales process by passing high-quality leads to the Account Executives. 
  • Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to schedule demos and meetings, ensuring a smooth transition and effective follow-up from initial contact to deal closure. 
  • Build Relationships: Build strong, lasting relationships with potential clients by educating them on our solutions, providing thought leadership on cybersecurity best practices, and offering valuable insights into how our solutions can help mitigate their security risks. 
  • Manage Pipeline : Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads, track outreach efforts, and update the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. 
  • Achieve Targets :  Meet and exceed lead generation and qualification goals, while contributing to the overall growth of the sales pipeline and revenue targets. 

 What you’ll bring

  • Proven success in meeting/exceeding quotas in sales, business development, in the cybersecurity or tech space (1-2 years preferred). 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with C-suite executives and decision-makers. 
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet or exceed KPIs and sales targets. 
  • Experience using CRM tools and sales prospecting platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.) 
  • Experience with a variety of prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to streamline workflows, identify leads, and improve outreach effectiveness 
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills. 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 

Bonus if you have 

  • Prior experience as BDR or SDR in Cyber Security space. 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $55k - $65k + Commission.

Analyst1 salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, location and relevant education or training.
