Industrial Base Technical Analyst (Microelectronics)

Position Summary:
ANSER is seeking an Industrial Base Technical Analyst (Microelectronics) to support the microelectronics portfolio for the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) program within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy (IBP). The IBAS program is dedicated to ensuring that the Department of Defense is positioned to effectively address industrial base issues and support the National Security Innovation Base. This position can support a remote work schedule with site visits to the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA as required.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Part of a high-powered team that researches and analyzes strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities within the global microelectronics defense industrial baseRecommend relevant prototyping efforts
- Crafts relevant acquisition documents
- Evaluate proposed efforts
- Monitors programmatic and technical execution
- Conduct outreach efforts and conduct site visits and strategic communications operations as required
- Other appropriate duties and tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Current SECRET clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or science/technology analysis
- Understanding of/experience in but not limited to:
- Advanced/high density packaging and equipment
- Radiofrequency (RF) based electronics
- Electronic design automation and microelectronics simulations
- Microelectronics supply chain threat analysis
- Electronic materials and products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate strong technical communication skills, an ability to translate complex findings into actionable recommendations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of the DoD acquisition process and PPBE
- Understanding of federal acquisition management
- Experience developing microelectronics technologies or monitoring microelectronics investments for the DoD
