Senior Industrial Base Technical Analyst (Kinetic Capabilities)

Position Summary:
ANSER is seeking a Senior Industrial Base Technical Analyst (Kinetic Capabilities) to support the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) program within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy (IBP).  The IBAS program is dedicated to ensuring that the Department of Defense is positioned to effectively address industrial base issues and support the National Security Innovation Base.

This position can support a remote work schedule with site visits to the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA as required.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities within the global kinetic capabilities defense industrial base
  • Recommend relevant prototyping efforts
  • Craft relevant acquisition documents
  • Evaluate proposed efforts
  • Monitors program execution
  • Conducts outreach efforts and conduct site visits and strategic communications operations as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have minimum of a SECRET clearance
  • Understanding of/experience in one of the following technical areas: Kinetic Capabilities to include hypersonics, missiles, munitions, small-UAS, directed energy.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline and at least 10 years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in advanced manufacturing, research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) with a U.S. Military Service, a U.S. military Major Command Staff level or higher, or in a large industrial corporation (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the DoD acquisition process and PPBE
  • Understanding of federal acquisition management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of systems engineering concepts and methods
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
  • Air launched missile experience

Full Time Salary Range for this position for this position:

$140,000 - $180,000 USD
