Project Manager - Cybersecurity Program

Position Summary:
ANSER is seeking a Cyber Security Program Project Manager to support the Department of Defense (DoD) in the areas of cybersecurity compliance, risk management, audit governance, security assessment, and digital transformation. In this role you will provide day-to-day management of contract team, managing delivery schedules and project scope to ensure the on-time delivery of services.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal pre-submission reviews of all deliverables to verify they are accurate, complete, and meet the professional standards required for Government acceptance
- Perform continuous risk management to prevent disruptions to contract performance
- Create and maintain detailed visual process maps of current cybersecurity and compliance workflows to identify manual touchpoints, decision nodes, and bottlenecks
- Develop and maintain an automation strategy and transition plan for transitioning manual processes to digital labor and automated solutions, synchronized with DoD efforts like the Cyber Security Risk Management Construct
- Manage relationships and expectations of sub-contractors including stakeholder management and team performance
- Manage and provide development and performance reviews for direct reports
- Coordinate with ANSER internal partners including finance, contracts, business development on program performance, modifications and growth
Required Qualifications:
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
- 15 years of information technology experience, with at least ten of those years in a project management role
- Five years of demonstrated experience managing digital transformation or business process automation programs, with a proven track record of transitioning manual processes to automated solutions
- Experience managing programs with an annual budget of at least $10 million and a team of 50+ personnel
