Anaplan is looking for an HR Generalist in EMEA. Reporting to the Director, HR Business Partner EMEA, and within the global HR team, you will provide support, advice, and solutions on HR topics to employees across EMEA and ensure some of the administrative management of this population. The candidate is required to be in our Parris office at least two days a week.
Your Impact
Administrative Management of Personnel (70%)
- France-specific Requirements: Draft and manage regulatory declarations (warnings, work accident declarations, semi-annual reviews for autonomous executives, French employment contract reviews, etc.).
- Mandatory Reports and Compliance Documentation: Prepare or assist in preparing required reports and declarations (social reports, health and safety reports, government surveys, French personnel registers, etc.), ensuring thorough and accurate record-keeping.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure the application of and compliance with labor laws, collective agreements, and internal procedures in alignment with relevant regulations.
- Liaison with External Organizations: Act as the main point of contact between the company and external bodies (Social Security, training organizations, occupational health services) to ensure smooth and compliant administrative processes.
- Support for Workers’ Council Meetings: Prepare and organize Workers’ Council (CSE) meetings by gathering necessary documents and managing administrative follow-up.
Employee Support and Administrative Guidance (30%)
- Administrative Advice and Support: Guide and advize employees and managers on all administrative HR matters (labor law, collective agreements, employment contracts, professional development) and direct them to the appropriate HR contacts as needed.
- Handling HR Inquiries and Issues: Listen to and address administrative needs and challenges raised by employees in areas such as recruitment, training, and working conditions.
- Case Management of Disciplinary and Grievance Issues: Manage disciplinary and grievance investigations from start to finish, conduct interviews, gather findings, and ensure compliance with local laws.
- Support for Performance Management: Assist people managers in addressing underperformance by using standardized methodologies, ensuring consistent application of the Performance Improvement and Disciplinary Procedure in alignment with Anaplan’s values.
- Collaboration with HR Operations: Partner with the HR Operations team to facilitate knowledge transfer and resolve root cause issues in service delivery that impact employee and manager experiences.
Your Qualifications
- Educational Background: Master’s degree in Human Resources or another field with a specialization in HR, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR administration.
- Experience in HR Administration: Prior experience as an HR Generalist with a focus on administrative HR tasks
- Experience in Centralized HR Environments: Previous experience in a centralized HR department or shared services organization is preferred, highlighting familiarity with structured and scalable HR administrative processes.
- Administrative Case Management: Ability to handle a high volume of employee cases with a focus on detailed tracking, timely follow-up, and adherence to procedures.
- Responsive and Composed Under Pressure: Demonstrated ability to respond quickly and effectively, maintaining composure in high-stress situations to ensure smooth HR operations.
- Organizational and Prioritization Skills: Strong multitasking ability with a focus on prioritizing tasks to maintain efficiency and responsiveness in a high-demand environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Able to adjust quickly to changing HR needs and remain flexible in task prioritization.
- Listening and Empathy: Strong listening skills to understand the needs and expectations of operational staff and translate these into effective support.
- Assertiveness and Diplomacy: Ability to be both flexible and firm in interactions, with strong persuasion skills to convey ideas, and projects, and negotiate effectively.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; German is a plus.
