Anaplan seeks a Director/Senior Director of Field Marketing EMEA
Anaplan is seeking a Senior Marketing Leader with a strong background in field and partner marketing, digital marketing, ABM, sales development, and demand generation. As a leading contributor to the Anaplan’s broader marketing strategy, you will be responsible for the development and execution of the ‘Go to Market’ demand strategy at the theatre, field, and partner level. This position will ideally work in a hybrid role in our London office.
As the leader of EMEA marketing, you will develop close strategic relationships with our field sales, partner, and global marketing teams. Your teams primary focus will be on generating awareness and demand both direct and through partners. Your ultimate goal is to increase new sales from new customers and cross-sell within the existing base. This is a uniquely dynamic role as it will take a leader with broad go to market experience and a growth mindset as both Anaplan and Marketing are rapidly scaling. Knowledge of processes to scale and working closely with functional marketing leaders across the organization is critical to successfully meeting our goals.
Your Impact
- Primary focus centered on sales pipeline creation and pipeline progression through to closed won bookings
- Act as a strategic link between marketing, EMEA sales teams and global go-to-market teams
- Orchestrate critical initiatives across Go-to-Market teams (sales, partners, customer success, solutions consultants, marketing, operations). Requires defining and leading cross-functional teams
- Define and size target markets and specific GTM strategies
- Own and define important metrics and goals in alignment to the sales growth strategy
- Partner with senior sales leadership to identify, build and implement global & regional Demand Generation Strategy and Execution inclusive of digital marketing strategy across the EMEA theatre
- Resolve appropriate marketing strategies for campaign effectiveness
- Work closely with the regional partner/channel team to develop partner marketing plans for growth and scale
- Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives responsible for inbound and outbound marketing to develop leads and drive early-stage pipeline creation
- Lead existing team while building a versatile team in the longer term as the business continues to meet targets and scale
- Significant budget management, ensuring spend remains on track and return on investment is tracked to ensure support of the overall revenue growth targets
- Responsible for representing the marketing function during the quarterly business reviews key business insights and creating revised strategic plans for the region
Your Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in field and demand generation experience with a focus in software/technology in EMEA
- Strong experience in marketing B2B software into enterprise level clientele
- Strong digital, ABM, field and partner marketing background with demonstrable success orchestrating an integrated marketing approach in EMEA
- Experience developing and successfully implementing ‘Go to Market’ strategies in EMEA
- Demonstrates sophisticated leadership skills with experience with scaling teams as well as marketing activity
Preferred Skills
- 8+ years of field and demand generation experience with a focus in software/technology in EMEA
