Join us as our new Director, Revenue Accounting! You will have a hybrid schedule with 2 days/week in either our San Francisco or San Ramon office.
Your Impact
- Lead the month-end close process for Subscription and Services revenue, ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 and alignment with internal controls and reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain global revenue recognition policies to reflect changes and developments in our business.
- Perform technical accounting research for new product lines or other revenue recognition issues requiring analysis, and document findings and conclusions supporting revenue treatment and disclosures.
- Mentor and manage a high-performing, global revenue accounting team, ensuring team members have clear goals and resources to succeed.
- Review and document complex revenue arrangements related to license sales and implementation projects.
- Work closely with various business partners to address technical revenue recognition concerns for potential new deal models, pricing and packaging changes, and partnerships.
- Continuously seek out and design process and system improvements to increase scalability and accuracy, including key metric reporting for new AI product releases.
- Drive innovation by using tools, data, automation, and AI to streamline revenue processes.
- Partner with the Senior Director of Revenue to define long-term priorities for revenue automation and improvements to processes and controls.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 10+ years of revenue accounting experience, with deep expertise in ASC 606 for SaaS and Professional Services.
- Excellent communication skills and proven experience working cross-functionally in an organization.
- Willingness to appropriately debate difficult issues, with the ability to think quickly and present to an audience.
- Big 4 and relevant industry experience, particularly at a US public company, preferred.
Base Salary Range:
$190,000 - $257,000 USD
