Role Overview
The Revenue Cycle Manager oversees the performance of the revenue cycle and ensures billing operations support consistent reimbursement and financial reporting.
This role maintains billing infrastructure, operational standards, and reporting visibility that allow leadership to understand revenue cycle performance and address issues affecting reimbursement.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee the end-to-end revenue cycle from patient registration through reimbursement and denial management.
- Maintain billing workflows and operational standards across billing systems and clearinghouses.
- Monitor revenue cycle metrics including denial rates, reimbursement timelines, and accounts receivable performance.
- Coordinate with finance, clinical, and operational teams to resolve issues affecting billing accuracy and reimbursement.
- Provide leadership and oversight for the billing team.
What You Bring
- Active Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required.
- Deep expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding frameworks, including coding compliance and payer audit readiness.
- Demonstrated experience establishing or overseeing coding review programs, documentation standards, and billing compliance practices.
- Extensive experience managing revenue cycle operations across commercial payers, Medicare, Medicaid, and CMS regulatory frameworks.
- Advanced experience managing billing systems, clearinghouses, and payer infrastructure including Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Availity, Waystar, and Change Healthcare.
- Experience analyzing and managing revenue cycle performance metrics including denial rates, accounts receivable aging, and reimbursement performance.

Pay Range
The salary range for this role is 100,000 to $120,000 annually.
Compensation within this range is determined based on relevant experience, licensure, skills, scope of responsibility, and internal equity. Anchor Health maintains structured salary bands and reviews compensation periodically to ensure alignment with market conditions, organizational needs, and individual performance.
