QA Intern

Please note: This role is only for students currentlly based in Barcelona.This role requires the successful applicant to be in the office 5 days a week.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Tester Intern to join our growing team. As an intern, you’ll work closely with QA testers, developers, and designers to help ensure the highest quality player experience. You’ll learn how to identify, document, and verify issues, and gain valuable insight into the game development process.
Responsibilities:
- Playtest game builds and identify bugs, glitches, and design inconsistencies.
- Log detailed bug reports with clear reproduction steps using our bug tracking system (e.g., JIRA).
- Assist in regression testing to verify resolved issues.
- Provide constructive feedback on gameplay, UI/UX, and general player experience.
- Collaborate with QA team members and developers to communicate issues clearly and efficiently.
- Help create and maintain QA documentation and test plans as needed.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to report testing progress.
Qualifications:
- Passion for video games and a strong interest in the game development process.
- Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with major gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile) is a plus.
- Experience with bug tracking software (like JIRA, TestRail) is a bonus, but not required.
- Open to receiving feedback and learning new tools and processes.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Previous QA or testing experience (even on personal or school projects).
- Basic understanding of software development or game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity).
- Knowledge of multiplayer games and live service operations.
