The Role:

At Andesite, we're taking a fresh approach to security operations and we’re looking for a strategic, yet hands on, VP of Marketing to own and execute on our story to the market . You'll be the mastermind powering our go-to-market, growth, demand generation, and corporate narrative.  This isn't just about managing marketing – it's about creating a category and positioning us as a leader that’s turning the industry on its head.

Working directly with our Senior Leadership Team, Product Marketing Lead, and Revenue organization, you'll have the unique opportunity to build our marketing engine from the ground up. You'll craft compelling narratives that resonate with business and industry leaders. What You’ll Do:

  • Strategy Development: Lead the vision, strategy and execution of data driven, marketing ecosystem efforts that address the distinct needs of audiences and positions us a category leader. Establish comprehensive growth, partner and channel marketing strategies to drive awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement. 
  • Marketing Leadership: Jumpstart, develop, lead, and in time hire a marketing team that champions, supports, and powers Andesite growth and market leadership. Develop, manage and optimize the marketing budget to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Campaigns and Events: Mastermind our event and activation strategies in close collaboration with Revenue. Design targeted campaigns to drive qualified leads, boost our top-of-funnel strategy, move qualified leads to conversion, accelerate sales cycles, optimize spend, grow new business and ensure ARR 
  • Demand Generation: Develop and execute multi-channel demand generation programs to drive qualified leads and pipeline growth. Report regularly on KPIs including MQLs, SQLs, pipeline contribution, and program ROI.
  • Corporate Communications: Develop communication frameworks to maintain a strong and cohesive brand voice. Oversee corporate narrative, public and media relations. Collaborate with the leadership team to craft executive communications and position us as thought leaders. Develop a brand playbook that turns every team member into a brand ambassador.
  • Vendor Management: In close collaboration with the Product Marketing Lead, identify, vet, and manage relationships with external marketing and creative vendors, agencies, and freelancers.
  • Market Analytics: Partner with the Product Marketing Lead to conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities. Establish processes, tools and workflows to report on key marketing metrics, enable AB testing, provide insights, track performance and effectiveness, ensure ROI, and deliver growth. .

Who You Are:

  • 14+ years of B2B marketing experience with 10+ years in leadership at early-stage startups, AI, cybersecurity, Saas, or hightech. 
  • You have successfully and effectively started, developed and led marketing teams and practices before.
  • You’re an analytical thinker, fluent and experienced in marketing data analytics and tools (i.e. HubSpot, Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.)
  • Proven history of launching and executing go to market and media campaigns that exceed KPIs and make competitors nervous, building on a network of industry connections and influencers in the tech or cybersecurity space

Even Better If You Have:

  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot)
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz)

Salary range: $230,000 - $250,000.  This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience, skills, and other factors.
