Government Operations & Accountability Manager

We are looking for an experienced Government Operations & Accountability Manager to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. This is a critical position as Anduril continues to grow and expand its operations across a wide variety of programs, contracts, and locations. As the Government Operations & Accountability Manager, you will be ultimately responsible for ensuring that Anduril is operating compliantly across supply chain, manufacturing, and inventory management on contracts governed by the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulation Supplement (DFARS). This role will be accountable for ensuring compliance with company policy and procedures, contractual and FAR/DFARS requirements. You will be expected to lead cross-functional teams in the development of new processes, have a deep appreciation for details, and work seamlessly with internal/external customers and DCMA. For this position, we are searching for an individual who can bring experience working on government programs to Anduril and help us continue to scale our capabilities in government and DoD operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Responsible for taking Government Operations & Property Management at Anduril from zero to one on an extremely aggressive timeline.
- Direct all Government Operations, Accountability and Property Management activities across programs to include execution, process, best practices, technical oversight, and compliance.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to comply with the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) Part 52.244 and the Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulation Supplement (DFARS) part 252.244-7001. This includes:
- Develop processes that increase the efficiency (speed & elimination of waste) and effectiveness of Anduril operations.
- Implement necessary systems that match Anduril Federal policies on procurement, manufacturing, and management of government property & inventory management per the FAR & DFARS
- Analyze current processes and procedures for deficiencies to determine potential corrective action, and demonstrate ability to develop self-assessments to validate department operations effectiveness
- Influence, and coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract(s). Influence contract acquisitions, negotiations, and modifications.
- Demonstrate ability to use customer systems including the Government Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) system
- Ensure technical leadership and excellence is maintained by participating in the planning, attraction, selection, retention, and development of the required management, professional, and technical talent.
- Act as the primary customer contact for Federal Operations and Government Property activities and may lead program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and performance.
- Problem solve and remove obstacles for your team and internal and external partners. Know how to think critically and engage the right teams to help.
- Communicate effectively to keep internal and external teams informed at all times. Use the necessary channels (Slack, email, meetings) to ensure stakeholders understand what needs to be accomplished and when.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, as well as 5+ years of progressively complex program experience
- Proven experience in material management, inventory control, or supply chain management roles, preferably in an aerospace and/or defense manufacturing environment; CPFF environment is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Customer focused, must be able to work on a self-initiated basis and in a team environment, and able to work extended hours and travel as required
- Experience with US Military program offices is desired
- Government proposal experience is desired
- Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance
US Salary Range
$108,000 - $162,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
