Lead Systems Engineer, C4

Anduril’s C2 Systems organization is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our C4 team. C4 focuses on building hardware and software solutions for the Menace family of systems product portfolio, connecting sensors and data across all domains, to all forces, enabling and ensuring a scaled convergence of effects across a dynamic battle-space.

We are working on cutting edge complex systems that must deliver critical capability on accelerated timelines to support our development and deployments tasks. We are looking for an highly organized, growth mindset, hands-on Systems Engineer to collaborate with our Software, Hardware, and Business Development teams to select, integrate, built, test, document, and deploy compelling solutions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collaborate with lead hardware and software engineers to guide the system development process from concept, development, production and through fielding.
- Lead efforts to produce and refine necessary documentation, such as the Acquisition Program Baseline (APB), to ensure readiness for milestone reviews and Defense Acquisition Boards.
- Coordinate Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to drive the product through the technology maturation and risk reduction phase, ensuring technologies are matured to an appropriate Technology Readiness Level (TRL).
- Formulate and oversee the Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), orchestrating the technical roadmap from inception through to validation.
- Oversee the system design, development, and demonstration activities during the engineering and manufacturing development phase to prepare for production, fielding, and operational testing.
- Ensure that the product meets all performance requirements and is supportable and sustainable through production and deployment and operations and support aligning with the life-cycle sustainment plan.
- Implement best practices for configuration management, test and evaluation (T&E), and systems integration in accordance with DoD standards.
- Develop a deep understanding of transformational value of Anduril Menace family of products through the creation and maintenance of systems engineering artifacts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access
- B.S. in Systems Engineering or or related STEM Degree in a related engineering field such as mechanical, electrical, aerospace and/or operations
- Proficiency in requirements management tools such as DOORS and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
- Experience with the DoD acquisition process and a deep understanding of ACAT-specific protocols in defense acquisition programs.
- Experience in requirements management, system architecture development, and CONOPs.
- Experience developing analytical strategies and performing data analysis in support of complex systems requirements evaluation.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to include presentation of developed artifacts.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with acquisition and/or RDTE experience
- INCOSE ASEP, CSEP, or equivalent certification
US Salary Range
$154,000 - $273,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
