Director, Navy Business Development, C2 Systems

Anduril's Command & Control Division is designing, developing, and deploying a next-generation, software-defined, hardware-enabled distributed C2 architecture, focused on orchestrating 3rd party sensors and strike-platforms across heterogeneous networks in support of time-sensitive operations. We work with mission partners to deploy advanced command and control capabilities on accelerated fielding timelines to meet complex challenges across the DoD and with Allies.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build a cohesive, data-driven strategy within the US Navy C2 market to penetrate, expand, and deliver Anduril’s warfighting capabilities
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with critical Navy stakeholders to identify new business opportunities, proactively communicate and resolve program issues, and provide strategic direction to program teams across operations, engineering, and manufacturing
- Serve as the senior US Navy leader for programs within the C2 division. Lead large capture campaigns against Navy Command and Control programs of record and new opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with Navy Program Executive Offices (PEO), Program Offices, and across Senior US Navy leadership
- Foster a culture of trust, open communications, customer focus, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Lead initiatives that move the organization forward, contributing to business and financial performance in a material and meaningful manner
- Deliver on financial performance commitments and build strategic market growth initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
- The ideal candidate will be a proven growth leader who has demonstrated experience in leading, managing, shaping and capturing US Navy C2 growth opportunities in ACAT I or ACAT II programs, both hardware and software, with preference given to candidates with recent experience interacting with PEO IWS, PEO C4I, and PEO USC.
- Demonstrated knowledge in defense acquisitions, with a history of zero-to-one defense program growth in the US Navy a plus
- Intimate understanding of government contracting, fielding, requirements generation, and budgeting for the purposes of transitioning prototype capabilities to production
- Experience in the technical, programmatic, and operational challenges of deploying warfighting C2 capabilities at the tactical edge in a Denied, Degraded, Intermittent, Low-bandwidth (DDIL) environment
- A leader who can build, adapt, and implement new and innovative approaches to market
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial, and creative environment
- Ability to identify, establish and use important customer relationships with senior level officials and program stakeholders within defense and intelligence community to drive capability adoption
- Demonstrated high-energy leader who will drive performance and exhibit strong management skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
- Excellent writing, communication skills with experience briefing senior executives and customers
- Preferred candidate is based out of Washington, DC
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess and be able to maintain a U.S. TS/SCI Security clearance
- Must be willing to travel up to 35%
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant Program Management, acquisitions or business development/sales capture experience in the government and/or private sector
US Salary Range
$168,000 - $252,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
