ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril is defining the future of defense, and we’re looking for a Social Media Manager to own the growth of our social media presence and help bring our brand to life across digital platforms. This role sits within the Brand Marketing team and will be hands-on in creating, scheduling, and managing content that fuels engagement, expands reach, and communicates our mission with clarity and conviction.

This is an ideal role for someone with experience managing big communities on the brand or agency side who’s passionate about technology, storytelling, and mission-driven work. You’ll work closely with senior marketers, designers, and video editors to develop & publish compelling content across our core social platforms. You’ll gain exposure to the strategy behind Anduril’s marketing while contributing directly to the execution that drives it forward. You will be the go-to remit for social strategy, platform innovation & the one with your hand on the button for our biggest product launches and brand moments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Own Anduril’s social strategy, exploding audience growth, driving brand awareness & cultural conversation.
Manage day-to-day publishing across Anduril’s owned social media channels (Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and Reddit) including drafting copy, scheduling posts, coordinating with creative teams, and surfacing new content opportunities.
Work with the Brand Marketing and Design teams to coordinate visual and video assets for posts, ensuring brand consistency.
Monitor platform trends and performance to identify opportunities to improve content and increase engagement.
Live in Anduril’s platforms and identify real-time moments, opportunities & conversations we can capitalize on as a brand.
Support internal documentation of best-performing content and growth metrics.
Track and report key KPIs to measure the impact of social campaigns and inform future efforts.
Drive community management, including comment moderation and message routing/escalation.
Build and maintain the master content calendar, keeping campaigns organized and deadlines on track.
Be the internal champion & evangelist of social innovation including new feature adoption, & content best practices.
Define and own strategy to hyperscale audience across all flagship Anduril social platforms.
Support paid media campaign implementation, including publishing of campaigns, budget tracking & staying up to date with Anduril’s platform contacts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

5-8 years of experience in a digital marketing or social media role, preferably in-house or at a creative agency.
Strong understanding of major social platforms, their audiences, and content best practices.
Comfort with social tools (e.g., Opal, Pulsar, or native platforms) and basic familiarity with analytics dashboards.
Copywriting experience with an eye for brand tone, message clarity, and platform-appropriate voice.
Passion for storytelling and the craft of translating complex ideas into hard-hitting digital content.
Clear communicator with strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
Mission-driven: you’re excited to work in a category that supports national security and democratic values.
Familiarity with campaign & ad managing platforms across Meta, Google, X & Reddit.
Demonstrated interest in Anduril’s mission or a broader understanding of defense and security issues.
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

US Salary Range

$114,000 - $171,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
