ABOUT THE TEAM

The Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) division is building and fielding autonomous and affordable capabilities that deliver decisive advantage.

The AD&S Finance team partners with leaders across Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, and Corporate Finance to drive a consistent operating cadence—monthly performance reporting, quarterly forecasting, and annual operating planning—so teams can move fast with financial discipline and clarity.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Senior Financial Analyst supporting AD&S, you’ll partner with division and business line leaders to own key elements of the AD&S consolidated forecast and reporting. In this role, you’ll be the voice of financial performance and drivers—building decision-ready analyses that connect program realities to financial outcomes.

You should be as comfortable supporting and explaining financial performance and variance analysis to cross-functional teams and senior leadership as you are building bottoms-up operating models and shaping the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). We’re building systems and processes from the ground up, and you will play a critical role in shaping them.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support ownership of the financial health of AD&S by consolidating inputs across the division; maintain clear visibility to key drivers.
  • Lead monthly performance reporting: compile actuals, develop variance analyses, summarize drivers, and produce leadership-ready narratives and dashboards.
  • Support quarterly forecasting cycles across OPEX and CAPEX: gather inputs, normalize assumptions, consolidate rollups, and facilitate review discussions that focus on actions and trade-offs.
  • Support development and shaping of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP): build templates, coordinate timelines, stress-test assumptions, and prepare materials for division and corporate reviews.
  • Build bottoms-up, data-driven models to understand cost and investment dynamics (workforce, vendor spend, tooling/capex, production ramps, and other key operational drivers).
  • Create reports and automated dashboards in FP&A and ERP tools (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, Anaplan, Foundry) and drive continuous improvement in reporting tools, systems, and procedures.
  • Partner with technical and operational leaders as a thought partner—offering insights and recommendations on how to track performance and improve outcomes.
  • Creatively and scrappily solve problems where there is no right or wrong answer, while maintaining high standards for accuracy and clarity.
  • Maintain visibility into portfolio investment (including R&D/IRAD) as part of consolidated reporting and forecast commentary, without losing focus on core operating rhythm.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 to 6 years of experience in a finance role at a high-growth technology company, defense/aerospace, investment banking, or consulting.
  • Intellectually curious — you seek to understand the why behind the numbers and dive into the operations as needed.
  • Creative problem-solver — able to identify obstacles, present viable solutions, and create systems to improve future processes.
  • Results-oriented — you ground your contributions in real customer and business impact and prioritize your time to maximize speed-to-impact.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills; able to drive consensus through grounded arguments and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
  • Strong financial modeling skills (Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
