Business Analyst, Edge Compute & Comms

Seattle, Washington, United States

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Connected Warfare division builds software and hardware to connect every robot, human, and sensor in every domain. We are dedicated to creating a truly connected battlefield, leveraging AI, autonomous systems, and advanced networking to provide warfighters with the intelligence and agility needed to win in any environment.

The first party team within Connected Warfare provides relevant Connected Warfare capabilities for every Anduril solution. Every mission, capability and domain increasingly relies on being connected, powered and enabled through networked technology and we consist of a growing cross-functional team supporting every part of Anduril and partnering on some of Anduril’s most important opportunities.

ABOUT THE JOB

This role has two primary responsibilities:

  1. Improving and Managing First Party Operations: The first party teams works across almost every division and functional organization at Anduril. You will work with many teams to improve processes that define and support first party growth and sustainment. You will build out data-capture and analytics-reporting muscles to drive positive change over the long term as well as create and manage critical processes for the team.
  2. Executing Special Projects: The first party team is frequently pulled into high-priority initiatives impacting many Anduril teams that must be solved, but do not fall neatly into the purview of an existing person’s job description. Examples include data pulls across multiple teams as well as managing last minute product deliveries. We’re looking for someone able and willing to get tapped when a messy problem needs solving.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Own operational projects end-to-end, from definition, to solutioning, to implementation, to sustainment. You will be handed ambiguous problems with little prescription on how to solve them. If this does not excite you, this is not the role for you.
  • Our teams work on problems that sit at the intersection of people, hardware and software systems including:
    • Inventory management systems
    • Asset-tracking
    • Manufacturing and supply chain systems capturing data on quality-issues on the production floor.
    • Pipeline tracking and sales systems
  • Work on strategic problems, providing structure to ambiguity and helping shepherd cross-functional groups of stakeholders towards decisions on strategic issues. The role will ask you to couple first principles thinking with creative and iterative analysis to fully detail the impacts of potential decisions.
  • Work deeply within data and systems, become intimately familiar with how our systems function, and leverage data from them to execute scrappy analyses on short timelines, all the while equipping teams with insights and tools to measure and improve their processes.
  • Project manage across large groups of stakeholders including leading large meetings, managing large Slack channels, and wrangling stakeholders towards a solution. This role requires the ability to translate across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering, HR, Recruiting, Growth, Deployments, and more.
  • Foster cross-business line collaboration to make all of Anduril work better together. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, while ensuring trust, clear communication, and goal alignment across groups; effectively represent product capabilities to internal customers as necessary.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Ownership Mentality. We’re looking for owners: those who have a natural bias to assume responsibility, a healthy dose of skepticism, and contribute to a culture of performance. We empower our team to quickly assume high levels of responsibility and entrust them to actively own their account and shape its success.

Structured Thinker and Problem Solver. This role requires clear communication and well thought-out plans. We are looking for assertive communicators who bring a thoughtful perspective and honest dialogue. A solution-driven approach, the ability to distill complexity into its essential, digestible components, and the ability to execute are critical to ensure mission success.

High Value Team Member. Do you enjoy working as part of a team? At Anduril, the path to success weaves through the organization - account teams, engineering, logistics, technical operations, and more. It requires humility, an eagerness to learn, and empathy toward your fellow team member. We assume best intentions and empathize with customers just as we do with our colleagues. We are a low ego group that promotes teamwork and collaboration to bring about success.

Adaptability to Unstructured Environments. We work a dynamic, ever-changing environment and are looking for individuals who can confidently navigate ambiguity. You excel at quickly structuring ambiguous situations and translating unstructured challenges into clear, actionable strategies that drive mission success.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You have 3+ years of experience in an internal strategy, operations, business analyst, management consulting, or similar role.
  • You have stood up complex processes from scratch and managed them end to end.
  • You are self-driven and relentlessly proactive. You don’t need someone to tell you to “move”. You just move. We’d rather have to tell you to slow down than to speed up.
  • You don’t wait on others to solve problems. You proactively step into the gap to offer solutions yourself.
  • You lean into acknowledging your weaknesses and take the idea of feedback and growth seriously.
  • You have built clear frameworks and processes to structure and solve problems.
  • You have strong analytical aptitude. You intuitively think about problems in terms of numbers and data-models, and you are able to quickly execute analyses in Excel.
  • You are comfortable communicating broadly and having a lot of eyes on your work. This role can at-times require comms to large groups and senior leadership. This should excite you!
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work within organizations with minimal structure and with minimal direction.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing best practices that drive operational efficiency and sustainable growth.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
