Anduril’s Finance Department is seeking a Pricing & Monetization Manager to join our Connected Warfare Finance team. The Finance team partners with leaders across Growth, Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, and Corporate Finance to drive a consistent operating cadence – monthly performance reporting, quarterly forecasting, and annual operating planning – so teams can move fast with financial discipline and clarity.  

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Pricing & Monetization Manager, you will be developing and analyzing pricing and monetization strategies for various types of customer solicitations and contracts. The right person for this role has a deep understanding of pricing & packaging strategy, financial analysis, cost estimating, and regulatory compliance. 

Reporting to the Connected Warfare Head of Finance, you will operate as an individual contributor with scope across multiple Anduril business lines, working directly with growth, engineering, and operations teams to develop pricing frameworks and licensing structures that maximize the growth of the business. You will track and report key performance metrics to drive profitable growth for the division. Your work will vary from quick-turn pricing exercises to leading new product offerings spanning from initial pricing & packaging strategy to the continuous operationalization through to customer facing workflows.  

You are passionate about bringing people together across an organization to drive a business forward. You are skilled at financial modeling and have a keen interest in business strategy at a high-growth software company. You excel at distilling complexity into clear-cut, concise strategy, and are comfortable communicating this in written and visual form. You’re scrappy, get stuff done, and have a strong sense of ownership. If you are someone who is team oriented and enjoys the fast paced environment of a growing company then this role is for you. 

This role is required to be onsite in one of our following locations: Washington, DC or Costa Mesa, CA. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Serve as a trusted expert and advisor by providing clear trade-off frameworks and monetization narratives that inform long-term strategy and investment decisions.
  • Design, enable, execute, and measure monetization efforts for new product launches and go to market plans.
  • Improve go-to-market effectiveness by identifying and maintaining key success metrics and addressing revenue and margin leakage opportunities
  • Coordinate with the contracts and program management teams on proposal documents and responses to government proposal requests while adhering to deadlines and submission requirements
  • Prepare timely, high quality, detailed, and compliant cost proposals for government and commercial solicitations, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements and basis of estimates and translate them into a compliant cost proposal
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all pricing templates, proposal files, supporting documentation, and historical data
  • Support Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) audits as required
  • Work with our demand planning teams to make sure unit build plans are aligned to proposed quantities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in developing product or pricing strategy, operationalizing product initiatives, or building sophisticated financial models
  • High ownership with the horsepower to effectively manage multiple (3-5+) large projects and priorities in parallel, at a rapid pace, and report out on progress regularly
  • Extreme attention to detail and with the ability to anticipate, prioritize, and adapt to changing workload situations
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate trust and articulate thoughts clearly among peers and with executives. 
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction, take ownership of ambiguous work streams, and drive deliverables to completion
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance (secret) 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in management consulting or investment banking coupled with hands on operating experience (product, strategic finance, business operations), ideally within technology or defense
  • Directly related experience in proposal/pricing/cost development for Government contracts and be familiar with CPFF, FFP, and T&M contracts/subcontracts – specifically strong knowledge of how indirect rates work and burden costs
  • Nice to have: Salesforce experience preferred, but not require
  • Experience operationalizing pricing decisions across billing, and quoting platforms 

US Salary Range

$146,000 - $194,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
