Staff Product Manager, Multi-Domain C2 Platform

Irvine, California, United States

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

We are building a next-generation command and control platform that unifies sensors, autonomous systems, effectors, and operational workflows into a common operating environment for mission-critical operations.

The platform integrates real-time sensor data, autonomy systems, communications infrastructure, and operator workflows across air, ground, and maritime domains. The team operates at the intersection of software platform engineering, autonomy, UX, mission operations, deployment, and systems integration to deliver scalable, user-centric capabilities in high-tempo operational environments.

This platform is evolving from a highly customized operational environment into a scalable, modular product ecosystem capable of supporting multiple customers, mission sets, and deployment models.

We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to help lead that transition.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the end-to-end product development and success of a multi-domain command and control platform. This role goes beyond traditional feature ownership or backlog management. The ideal candidate will operate as the product leader across strategy, technical program execution, user workflows, integrations, and cross-functional coordination. You will work closely with software engineering, UX, deployment leads, program managers, operators, and external partners to drive roadmap alignment, system integration, platform usability, and execution across a highly complex operational environment. This role requires strong product instincts, technical fluency, operational awareness, and a deep appreciation for user experience and workflow design within mission-critical environments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Own Product Strategy and Roadmap

  • Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, priorities, and long-term strategy for the platform.
  • Balance investments across operator workflows, integrations, scalability, analytics, permissions, reliability, and mission capabilities.
  • Translate customer, operator, and field feedback into actionable product strategy and engineering-ready requirements.
  • Establish product milestones, KPIs, and success metrics aligned to operational outcomes.

Lead Cross-Functional Execution

  • Drive coordination and execution across front-end engineering, back-end engineering, platform infrastructure, UX, deployment operations, and program management teams.
  • Establish operational cadences for roadmap reviews, execution tracking, dependency management, and release coordination.
  • Partner closely with deployment leads, program managers, and customer stakeholders to support fielding, integration, and operational rollout activities.
  • Identify and manage technical, operational, and organizational risks across the product lifecycle.

Drive User-Centric Product Development

  • Partner closely with UXR teams, operators, deployment teams, and mission users to understand workflows, pain points, and operational needs.
  • Help shape the product experience, workflow design, interaction models, and operational usability of the platform.
  • Work directly with front-end and back-end engineering teams to inform product architecture, UI behavior, information hierarchy, and system interactions.
  • Ensure roadmap priorities are grounded in real operational workflows and mission outcomes.
  • Advocate for intuitive, scalable, and highly responsive user experiences within complex operational environments.

Own Platform and Integration Strategy

  • Drive the integration roadmap across sensors, autonomy systems, mission applications, communications infrastructure, and third-party platforms.
  • Partner with engineering teams to define scalable APIs, data models, permissions frameworks, and interoperability approaches.
  • Coordinate integration efforts with external partners, customer systems, and internal platform and business teams.
  • Support deployment, operationalization, and scaling of the platform across multiple environments and mission sets.

Establish the Product Operating Model

  • Define clear ownership structures, operating rhythms, and cross-functional coordination mechanisms across participating teams.
  • Improve visibility into roadmap status, dependencies, risks, and execution health.
  • Drive disciplined product development processes across requirements management, prioritization, release planning, and stakeholder communication.
  • Help mature the organization from reactive execution toward a scalable product operating model.

Represent the Product Internally and Externally

  • Serve as a product leader across executive reviews, customer engagements, operational discussions, and roadmap planning.
  • Build strong relationships with operators, engineers, deployment teams, customers, and mission stakeholders.
  • Communicate product strategy, technical tradeoffs, and operational priorities clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, UX/product design, or related technical leadership roles.
  • Experience leading large-scale software or platform initiatives across multiple engineering organizations.
  • Strong technical fluency across modern software platforms, distributed systems, integrations, APIs, or mission-critical applications.
  • Proven ability to drive alignment and execution across teams without direct authority.
  • Experience translating operational workflows and customer feedback into scalable product solutions.
  • Strong understanding of front-end product development, user workflows, and UX-driven product design.
  • Experience working closely with front-end engineers, back-end engineers, UX researchers, and deployment stakeholders in complex technical environments.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving, and highly technical environments.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience building or supporting command and control systems, common operating pictures, operational platforms, or real-time mission software.
  • Background in product design, UX, interaction design, or workflow-heavy enterprise software environments.
  • Experience supporting intelligence analysis, mission planning, or operational decision-support workflows within government or defense environments.
  • Familiarity with intelligence analytics platforms, sensor fusion systems, pattern-of-life analysis, or operational visualization tools.
  • Experience designing analytical workflows or user experiences that help operators synthesize information and make time-sensitive decisions.
  • Experience with defense technology, autonomy, robotics, ISR, or multi-domain operational systems.
  • Experience supporting deployed operational systems or customer-facing platform products.
  • Background in systems integration, platform architecture, or infrastructure-heavy software environments.
  • Experience working directly with operators, deployment teams, or mission users in operational environments.

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
