Systems Specialist, Mission Readiness

Costa Mesa, California, United States

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Operational Excellence sits within Anduril's Mission Readiness organization, owning the systems, processes, and transactional backbone that keep global deployment operations running. Working across Product, Engineering, Growth, Business Development, Technical Operations, and Mission Operations, the team supports forward logistics, site installation, maintenance & repairs, field inventory management, sustainment, and reverse logistics. We are central to ensuring effective customer and mission success, shaping the future of Anduril's defense solutions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Systems Specialist, Mission Readiness to take day-to-day responsibility for the transactional work and tier-1 tooling support that keep Anduril's global deployment operations running. In this role, you will intake, process, and close out the day-to-day transactions that flow through Deployment Operations — sales order fulfillments, return management authorizations (RMAs), inventory moves, and asset transactions — while serving as the first point of contact for bugs, issues, and requests hitting the digital tools and systems the deployment team relies on.

This role sits at the intersection of our operators and our digital tooling. You’ll execute transactions cleanly in our ERP and business systems, drive tickets to rapid resolution or escalation, and keep the documentation behind that work current. You’ll be the critical link between physical reality and digital records—keeping them in lockstep to ensure our global deployment operations run flawlessly. Ultimately, you are someone who takes pride in clean data, closed tickets, and getting it right the first time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Intake, process, and close transactional requests across Deployment Operations, including sales order fulfillments, RMAs (customer returns), inventory moves, cycle-count corrections, and asset transactions
  • Execute sales order fulfillments end-to-end in the ERP, including picking confirmations, shipment creation, serial/lot capture, and invoicing hand-offs
  • Open, track, and close RMAs, ensuring accurate disposition, warranty coding, and inventory receipt
  • Monitor and respond to transactional requests and tickets in Jira, Current, and related systems within defined SLAs, following established runbooks and SOPs
  • Serve as tier-1 support for bugs and issues across the deployment team's digital tools and systems — reproduce the issue, capture context, create and tag tickets, triage severity, and escalate to the Digital Tools and Process project and program managers for resolution
  • Create and manage tickets on behalf of users who surface issues through Slack, or walk-ups, so that nothing gets lost and every request is trackable
  • Maintain accurate records across ERP, WMS, and deployment digital tooling so every transaction is traceable and audit-ready
  • Reconcile discrepancies between physical and system state, and flag root causes to project managers for systemic fixes
  • Keep knowledge base articles, SOPs, and training aids up to date for the transactions and tools you support
  • Surface recurring issues, rework, and manual workarounds so they can be fed into the Digital Tools and Process roadmap
  • Partner cross-functionally with Logistics, Technical Operations, Finance, and Trade Compliance to unblock holds on orders, returns, and shipments

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, relevant technical certifications, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 2+ year of experience in operations, logistics, order management, help desk, customer service, or a similar execution- or support-oriented environment
  • Comfortable learning and working across multiple business systems (ERP, ticketing, CRM) and reconciling information between them
  • Exposure to creating or working tickets in Jira, ServiceNow, Salesforce Service Cloud, or a similar ticketing system
  • Strong attention to detail and a track record of processing work accurately under deadline pressure
  • Ability to follow established procedures and runbooks while knowing when to escalate

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on exposure to executing transactions in an ERP (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) or similar business system
  • Familiarity with ticketing and business systems such as Salesforce, Jira, ServiceNow, or NetSuite
  • Experience processing RMAs or reverse logistics transactions in a hardware or technical services environment
  • Exposure to military, government, or defense/aerospace operations, including serialized asset tracking and export-controlled shipments
  • Basic proficiency with Excel/Sheets to self-serve quick data checks
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a customer-focused mindset
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
