Calibration Technician

Costa Mesa, California, United States

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Enterprise Test Capabilities (ETC) develops, operates, and scales the shared physical test infrastructure, technical expertise, and execution systems required to validate Anduril's products across the company. The team provides specialized testing that is capital-intensive, technically complex, safety-critical, or broadly reusable across multiple programs, spanning environmental testing (thermal, vibration, shock, HALT, TVAC), battery testing (cell/module/pack characterization, abuse testing, BMS validation), propulsion testing (engine test cells, thrust/torque measurement, fuel/feed systems), aerodynamic testing (wind tunnel operations, flow visualization, force/moment measurement), and structural testing. We partner with product test teams from early development through qualification and sustainment to identify technical risk, select appropriate test methods, execute testing safely, and generate trusted engineering evidence. The test operations team within ETC owns the lab facilities, equipment fleet, calibration program, and operational support team that keeps this diverse test enterprise running.

  • Manage spare parts inventory across multiple equipment types, insuring critical spares are stocked and available
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and decommissioning activities across all test domains
  • Monitor equipment performance trends and recommend predictive maintenance actions for the diverse fleet.
  • Respond to equipment issues during active testing across ETC to minimize interruptions
  • Collaborate with lab coordinators, test engineers, and lab admins on equipment status and scheduling across all test domains
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and EHS requirements, including domain-specific safety protocols across ETC.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout all test facilities.
  • Support evaluation and qualification of new equipment acquisitions across the full range of test capabilities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of hands-on calibration and maintenance experience with physical test or test and measurement equipment in a test lab, manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environment
  • Direct experience calibrating and maintaining diverse test equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with CMMS or calibration management software
  • Familiarity with military standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-202)
  • Experience with diverse test equipment types beyond environmental, such as propulsion test systems, structural load frames, battery test stations, or aerodynamic instrumentation

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
