Senior Product Manager, Identity

Washington, District of Columbia, United States

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Anduril’s Identity Engineering team builds and runs the systems that decide who gets access to what across the company: SSO, access requests and reviews, device trust, and the automation that ties them together. Our customers are every team at Anduril. Some are simple, and some have deeply technical, mission-specific requirements.

This is a true ownership role, not a support or coordination role. You’ll decide what the team builds and in what order, hold that line with customers, and be accountable for whether what we ship actually makes people’s lives better.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own the identity roadmap end to end. Take in hundreds of competing requests from across the company and turn them into a short, defensible list of what ships in the next 2 to 4 weeks, what ships this half, and what isn’t happening.
  • Say no well. Tell stakeholders directly when their request isn’t on the roadmap, explain why, and keep the relationship intact.
  • Make off-the-shelf tools fit Anduril. Turn platforms into products that match how our teams actually work, not just vendor defaults.
  • Lead flagship initiatives like role-based access bundles, where a new hire gets the 20+ things they need in one request based on their role instead of filing 20 tickets.
  • Run rollouts like launches. Own customer communication, change management, pilots, and adoption for every major capability we ship.
  • Treat ops as a product signal. Use ticket data and customer feedback to find what’s broken and turn repeat pain into roadmap items, self-service, or automation.
  • Write the PRDs, define success metrics, and report progress to engineering and leadership

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years in product management, ideally on identity, access management, or security platform products
  • Track record of owning a roadmap and its outcomes
  • Enough technical depth to hold your own with engineers on identity, access management, and security subject matter
  • Strong opinions and the backbone to defend them
  • You care how users experience our internal identity tools and you’re responsive, while still being firm about priorities
  • Clear, direct written and verbal communication with audiences from individual engineers to executives
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Product experience at an identity vendor, or running workforce identity programs at a large or fast-growing company
  • Experience with internal platform products where adoption has to be earned or mandated
  • Has led a consolidation or standardization effort across multiple engineering teams
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted operations or automation (ticket triage, self-service agents)
