General Summary: Anew’s Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) team is North America’s leading full-service biomethane marketing group. We partner with farmers, landfill operators, and wastewater treatment plants to generate renewable fuel and bring it to market for utilities, fleet operators, and voluntary buyers seeking cleaner energy. From generation to monetization of environmental credits, our clients gain the full benefit of fast-growing markets while avoiding execution risks. This opportunity will provide the ability to move into advanced technical/business positions performing life cycle analysis (LCA), greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) modeling, carbon intensity analysis, market analysis of renewable fuels, project leadership, client and contract management.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • General administrative support to the RNG-Technical Services operations team.
  • Participate in company’s objectives within the EPA’s Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) and California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) compliance programs.
  • Collect recurring monthly documents and data from clients operating RNG facilities.
  • Populate recurring monthly greenhouse gas (GHG) emission models.
  • Maintain a recordkeeping tracker and report status to supervisor.
  • Update internal recordkeeping database with changes in regulations.
  • Archiving documents with high attention to detail and organization.
  • Support team leads during client onboarding and ongoing compliance requirements.
  • Perform QAQC on data collection and inputs on the tracker of renewable fuel inventory.
  • Fill out monthly transactional statement templates with facility specific inputs.
  • Send out emails to clients for completed forms, questions, and information requests.
  • Facilitate facility specific data requests for third party auditors.
  • Assist with quality assurance protocol (QAP) functions.
  • Frequent processing and validating of large amount of Excel data.
  • Routine check-ins and reporting with Operations, Account Managers and with Supervisors
  • On-going development of systems and procedures to improve efficiency.

Required Education, Experience, and Certification:

  • Fluent English (spoken, read and written).
  • Proficiency in technical/business communication is expected.
  • Must be eligible to work in Hungary.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word. Ability to draft professional formatted templates.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Ability to process large amounts of data and versatile knowledge of advanced functions and formulas.
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Education, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • University Degree or relevant working experience. Preference awarded to engineering, math, science, technology, environmental, auditing background.
  • Prior experience in renewable energy, preferably in natural gas and electricity.
  • Knowledgeable in North American carbon reduction policy or program.
  • Background in greenhouse gas emissions, carbon intensity, environmental commodities, or life cycle emissions.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements and auditing
