About the role:

Angi is seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Product Manager to join our marketplace group, the hub of our platform where Homeowners and Pros get connected to get jobs done well. This group is responsible for essential products including matching, pricing, search, spam detection, and more - this is the hub of our customer experience and monetization.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will work on our top strategic initiatives aimed at getting the pros right and the match right, resulting in more jobs done well

What you’ll do:

  • Be the product leader for our US product-engingeering matching team. You’ll own our technology responsible for ranking and presenting Pros to Homeowners.
  • Ensure the matching product is healthy by diligently monitoring key product health metrics and ensuring we have proper observability.
  • Work across a variety of product domains to deliver the most high impact products aligned with our top strategic initiatives, sometimes these domains will be outside of your product ownership area.
  • When working in a product area outside your domain, you will quickly become an expert and help lead your team to build high quality products that drive customer results.
  • Develop a deep understanding of all metrics in the marketplace so you’re always making data driven decisions, and able to tell compelling stories with a deep understanding of how our system works.
  • Drive the health and success of the Angi Marketplace and use all the levers at your disposal to drive step-function improvement in Jobs Done Well for our Pros and Homeowners.
  • Drive a roadmap that has ambitious goals, builds momentum, and inspires passion in the engineering team you’ll partner with.
  • Lead cross functional efforts across Pro, Homeowner, and Growth pillars to unify teams and our products to support a marketplace that optimizes for Jobs Done Well.

Who you are:

  • 4+ years of product experience, including leadership of an engineering team.
  • Ability to learn a new product area quickly by asking the right questions, diving into the data, and meticulously documenting what you learn.
  • Deep analytical skills using both qualitative and quantitative data to influence key stakeholders and make compelling product decisions.
  • Deep experience testing at scale, including partnering with data science or analytics/BI to build new products.
  • Strong Project Management skills so that you’re able to balance a multitude of priorities and manage expectations for your team, leaders, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to weigh competing priorities, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with stakeholders, driving to consensus while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities.
  • Familiarity and comfort with data, including the ability to use data to analyze and monitor product health and to make hard prioritization decisions, as well as using SQL to dive into the data directly to refine requirements, make decisions, and answer questions.
  • Superior communication skills: You can tell a compelling story, you communicate clearly and concisely and can tailor your message to your audience.
  • You make good decisions with incomplete data and are constantly optimizing for learning. You find creative ways around blockers and always have an option for what’s next and never an excuse for why you can’t proceed.
  • You inspire others to bring their ‘A’ game and are constantly looking for opportunities for improvement. You don’t accept “because that is the way we’ve always done it.”
  • You can seamlessly straddle thinking about both the product and the business and are equally comfortable talking about funnel metrics and P+L's. You never say “that is not my job.”
