What you’ll do
As our Manager, Revenue Accounting, you will oversee a revenue accounting team responsible for Angi’s domestic revenue recognition accounting, including compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements. You will drive continuous improvements, leverage AI tools to enhance team efficiency, and deliver strategic financial insights to help shape the company’s long-term success.
Revenue Recognition & Reporting
- Lead monthly reviews of revenue and deferred revenue accounting to ensure completeness and accuracy, including approval of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Oversee assessment of credit loss reserves to ensure appropriate and timely recognition
Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of revenue accountants, providing guidance and ensuring consistent high performance
- Foster a collaborative environment across the accounting, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless revenue reporting processes
Policy, Controls & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain all corporate revenue accounting policies
- Manage controls documentation and process flowcharts for the end-to-end revenue cycle, ensuring alignment with SOX requirements
- Support internal and external audit programs by serving as a primary point of contact for auditors on revenue-related inquiries and delivering requested documentation in a timely manner
Cross Functional Partnership
- Collaborate with the Product team to evaluate new and evolving service offerings and assess their revenue recognition implications
- Partner with Analytics and Finance teams to troubleshoot issues, test system enhancements, and implement improvements that increase automation and reporting accuracy
- Provide guidance, training, and subject matter expertise to teams across the organization on revenue accounting standards and compliance requirements
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field. CPA preferred
- 5+ years of revenue accounting experience ideally within a publicly traded tech company, with at least 2 years of management experience. Earlier public accounting experience is a plus
- Thorough understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams; ability to foster collaboration across departments
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; highly organized and detail oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively present complex information to stakeholders at all levels, including executives
- Proficient in Excel; experience with Netsuite preferred. Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, ClaudeCowork, or similar) in a professional accounting context to improve productivity and output quality; ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs critically

Compensation & Benefits
- The salary band for this position ranges from $100,000 - $150,000 commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living
