Position Summary
The Clinical Development Medical Manager ~ Sr. Medical Manager is responsible for the design, execution, and oversight of clinical trials. Key responsibilities include monitoring and reviewing clinical trial data, handling medical enquiry, authoring key study documents (e.g., protocol, study charters, memos to sites), providing medical support. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional teams from clinical pharmacology, regulatory affairs, and clinical operations. This position will report to Sr. Assoc. Director, Clinical Development.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Contribute to strategy for clinical trials and support the program level regulatory documents.
- Serve as medical monitor for clinical trials and to ensure high-quality data generation.
- Drive the execution of clinical program(s) and/or trial(s) in partnership with cross-functional colleagues including clinical operations, clinical pharmacology, and regulatory affairs, etc.
- Support safety/pharmacovigilance teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date safety profile of the investigational molecule(s).
- Support the development of key clinical documents including, but not limited to, study protocols, investigator’s brochures, clinical study reports, data monitoring committee charters, and manuscripts.
- Work to resolve any key medical related issues that may arise during clinical studies.
- Identify key opinion leaders for target indications, interact with PI
- Serve as an internal clinical expert and participate in global development activities and meetings as a medical subject matter expert.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements – Education and Experience:
Medical Manager:
- Master’s degree in clinical medicine, with a minimum of 1 year of clinical practice experience (including residency) is required. 2~3 years of experience in drug clinical development in industry is required.
Sr. Medical Manager:
- MD (Medical Doctor degree) or equivalent medical related degree, with a minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience (including residency) is required. 1 year of experience in drug clinical development in industry is required.

- Master’s degree in clinical medicine, with a minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience (including residency) is required. 4~6 years of experience in drug clinical development in industry is required.
Other qualifications:
- Proven track record to interpret, communicate, and present efficacy & safety data from clinical trial(s).
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective scientific partnerships with key stakeholders in the disease state(s) under development. Good understanding of GCP, clinical trial design, biostatistics, regulatory requirements, and clinical development processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Fluent in oral and written English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- High sense of responsibility and strong team-oriented mindset.
- Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adaptable to start-up company’s culture.
