Associate Scientist - Scientist, Pharmacology

Job responsibilities:

1. Pharmacology Platform Development

Participate in the establishment of in vitro and in vivo pharmacological testing methods and experimental platforms. Assist in literature review, method development, and experimental protocol design to ensure scientific, standardized, and efficient platform setup.

2. Animal Studies & Model Development

Under the guidance of the team and supervisors, be responsible for the development, optimization, and validation of animal models. Conduct relevant animal experiments and collaborate closely with CRO partners and internal departments to ensure smooth progression of drug development projects.

3. Cell Biology Research

Engage in cell-based experimental work, including mammalian cell culture, in vitro molecular interaction analysis, gene transfection techniques, and the construction and screening of functional cell lines to support mechanistic studies and efficacy evaluation.

4. Tissue Sample Processing & Analysis

Responsible for processing and analyzing tissue samples from in vivo studies, including preparation of hard tissue and paraffin sections, immunohistochemistry (IHC), routine histological staining, and in situ hybridization, to support pathological assessments.

5. Molecular Biology Experiments

Perform various molecular biology techniques such as ELISA, quantitative PCR (qPCR), and Western blotting, providing experimental data to support pharmacodynamic evaluation and mechanism-of-action studies.

岗位职责：

1. 药理平台建设：参与体外及体内药理学检测方法和实验平台的搭建工作，协助进行前期文献调研、方法学开发及实验方案设计；
2. 动物实验与模型构建：在团队及上级指导下，负责实验动物模型的建立与优化，执行相关动物实验，并与CRO及公司内相关部门紧密协作，推动药物研发项目顺利进行；
3. 细胞生物学研究：参与细胞水平研究工作，包括细胞培养、体外分子相互作用分析、基因转染及功能性细胞株的构建；
4. 组织样本处理与分析：负责动物体内组织样本的分析处理，包括硬组织和石蜡切片制备、免疫组织化学染色（IHC）、组织染色、原位杂交等；
5. 分子生物学实验：参与分子生物学相关实验，如ELISA、qPCR、Western Blot等，支持药效评价及机制研究。

Qualifications:

1. Minimum Requirements – Education and Experience:

• Major in biology, pharmacology, physiology, pharmaceutics, biochemistry, or other related fields. Previous industrial work experience, especially in research related to bone, joint, muscle, or rare bone diseases, is highly preferred.

Associate Scientist:

• Master’s degree along with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in pharmaceutical or basic biomedical research
• Bachelor's degree along with at least 6 years of relevant work experience in pharmaceutical or basic biomedical research

Sr. Associate Scientist:

• Master’s degree along with at least 4 years of relevant work experience in pharmaceutical or basic biomedical research
• Bachelor's degree along with at least 7 years of relevant work experience in pharmaceutical or basic biomedical research

Scientist:

• Master’s degree along with at least 6 years of relevant work experience in pharmaceutical or basic biomedical research
• Bachelor's degree along with at least 9 years of relevant work experience in pharmaceutical or basic biomedical research

2. Strong foundation in relevant scientific knowledge; passionate about science and hands-on experimentation; detail-oriented, observant, and concise in work.

3. Solid experimental skills with proficiency in: Molecular biology techniques such as ELISA and Western Blot; Cell-based pharmacological assays; Small animal experiments and animal model development; Tissue sectioning and immunohistochemistry analysis.

4. Good teamwork spirit and strong communication skills, with good organization skills, as well as time management awareness.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Office software.  With Good skills of English reading, writing and expression.

3. 具有良好的实验室操作技能，熟练掌握以下经验：分子生物学如ELISA，WB、细胞药效实验、小动物实验、动物模型构建，动物组织切片、免疫组化样品分析；

4. 良好的团队合作精神和较强的沟通能力，有较高的规划性和时间概念性；

5. 熟练运用Microsoft办公软件，具有较好的英语阅读，撰写和表达能力。
